Development of a scale prototype palletizing automated device

The hopper mechanism loads boxes onto the conveyor, in lieu of workers or separate machines that would do this job in a factory setting. The mechanism uses a pusher with a constant sinusoidal frequency, moving a column of gravity fed boxes across rollers onto the conveyor. The boxes are fed one by one at the frequency of the mechanism. A simple two bar linkage driven by a low speed gearmotor was used to create the motion.
